1 hrsThis cake earns its “deluxe” name with three full cups of finely chopped apples stirred right into the batter. The oil keeps it incredibly moist, while cinnamon and vanilla wrap everything in warm spice.
No fancy equipment needed here. Just a bowl, a wooden spoon, and your choice of pans.
Bake it in a classic bundt for an impressive presentation, or divide it into small nut loaf pans for gift-worthy mini cakes that finish in half the time.
Chef Tips
- Chop apples finely so they distribute evenly throughout the batter
- Use any variety of apple you have on hand
- Small loaf pans bake in 35-45 minutes instead of 90
- Add more cinnamon to taste if you love warm spice
