Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour, all-purpose
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup heavy whipping cream heavy cream 35%
2 tablespoons pesto, prepared
2 tablespoons parsley leaves chopped
1 clove garlic minced
2 tablespoons parmesan, parmigiano-reggiano cheese, grated grated
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons white pepper
1 dash worcestershire sauce and red hot pepper sauce
3 pounds pasta, capellini
2 each sweet red bell pepper cut in strips
4 pounds snow pea pods trimmed
1 pound shrimp jumbo

Directions

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter, stir in flour and cook for a few minutes until golden.

Add milk and cream, bring to a gentle simmer and continue to stir until thickened.

Add pesto, parsley, garlic, parmesan, salt, pepper, worcestershire and tabasco, and stir until blended.

Reduce heat and keep warm, stirring occasionally.

Cook pasta quickly in a large pot of boiling water (3 to 4 minutes, or until al dente). At the same time, poach the pepper, snowpeas and shrimp in another pot of boiling water ( 2 or 3 minutes, or until just heated through).

Drain the pasta, mix it with the sauce and portion it into heated individual serving bowls. Garnish each portion with shrimp and vegetables, and serve immediately.

Found your site today and tried this recipe tonight. Worked great!! Need to be careful not to over thicken the sauce. Tastes delicious! Quite garlicy. It works.

Evil Jungle Prince with Chicken (Or Mixed Vegetables)

This is a great recipe. It's really easy to make and tastes great. I didn't use the cabbage though. I poured the coconut milk over rice and it was fantastic. I would put in more lime leaves to add more flavour.
