| 3/4 | cup | butter | or regular margarine |
| 1 | cup | sugar | |
| 2 | large | eggs | beaten |
| 2 | tablespoons | molasses | |
| 1 1/2 | cups | flour, all-purpose | sifted |
| 1 | teaspoon | cinnamon | ground |
| 3/4 | teaspoon | baking soda | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | baking powder | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | salt | |
| 3 | tablespoons | sour milk | |
| 3 | cups | rolled oats | |
| 1/2 | cup | raisins, seedless |
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at time, beating well after each addition.
Beat in molasses. Sift together flour, cinnamon, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Add dry ingredients alternately with sour milk to creamed mixture, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in oats and raisins.
Drop mixture by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet.
Bake at 350F for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from baking sheets; cool on racks.

This was a wonderful meal and I was as impressed with preperation time as the meal itself, I will prepare it again.
