| 1/2 | pound | butter | |
| 1/2 | cup | brown sugar | |
| 1/2 | cup | sugar | granulated |
| 1 | cup | flour, all-purpose | |
| 2 | teaspoons | baking powder | |
| 1 | each | egg yolk | |
| 6 | each | chocolate bars | hershey bars |
| 1 | cup | almonds | chopped |
Cream butter and sugars.
Add egg yolk. Mix baking powder with flour.
Add to butter mixture. Spread evenly in 9x13 pan.
Bake 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
Put bars of chocolate on top immediately.
Spread when it melts to cover the top. (put them back in oven for just a minute or two so the chocolate will melt faster).
Sprinkle with chopped almonds.
