Ingredients

Batter
3 cups flour, all-purpose
2 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
2 tablespoons poppy seed
3 large eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/8 cups vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 teaspoons almond extract
Glaze
1/4 cup orange juice
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract

Directions

Mix all batter ingredients in a large bowl.

Pour batter into 2 well greased and floured loaf pans.

Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Let cool 5 minutes.

Blend orange glaze ingredients.

Pour over loaves while still warm in pans.

Cool 5 minutes, then remove loaves from pans.
