| 3 | cups | flour, all-purpose | |
| 2 3/4 | cups | sugar | |
| 1 1/2 | teaspoons | baking powder | |
| 1 1/2 | teaspoons | salt | |
| 3 | teaspoons | poppy seeds | |
| 3 | teaspoons | vanilla extract | |
| 3 | teaspoons | butter | |
| 3 | teaspoons | almond extract | |
| 3 | large | eggs | |
| 1 1/2 | cups | milk | |
| 1 1/2 | cups | vegetable oil | |
| Glaze | |||
| 1/2 | cup | orange juice | |
| 3/4 | cup | sugar | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | vanilla extract | |
| 1/2 | teaspoon | almond extract | |
Blend together in one bowl and beat 2 minutes with electric beater.
Turn into 2 greased loaf pan (or 4 mini loaf pans).
Bake approximately 60 minutes at 350 degrees. A toothpick inserted in center and coming out clean indicates bread is done.
Glaze: If desired, blend in saucepan Bring to a boil, simmer for 5 minutes. Brush on loaves while warm.
