Orange juice and honey create natural sweetness while whole wheat flour and bran cereal pack this loaf with fiber and nutty flavor.

Sesame and poppy seeds add pleasant crunch and visual appeal throughout the dense, moist crumb.

The batter comes together quickly without kneading, baking into a rustic loaf that slices beautifully after a full cooling.

Baking Tips

  • Let the bran cereal soak in the orange juice mixture for the full 2 minutes to soften properly
  • Use a combination of whole wheat and all-purpose flour for hearty flavor with lighter texture
  • Cool the loaf completely before slicing or it will crumble and tear
  • Toast slices to bring out the nutty seed flavors and crisp the texture
