| 16 | ounces | tomato sauce | |
| 1/2 | cup | water | |
| 3 | teaspoons | chili powder | |
| 1/2 | cup | tortilla chips | crushed |
| 1/2 | cup | cheddar cheese | shredded |
| 1 1/2 | cups | minute rice |
Combine tomato sauce, water and chili powder in a medium sized saucepan.
Bring to a full boil. Stir in rice. Cover, remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes. Sprinkle with tortilla chips and cheese. Serve with shredded lettuce and sour cream if desired. From: Syd's Cookbook.

This is absolutely delicious! Instead of using oil/bread crumbs, I used italian seasoned bread crumbs and melted salted butter. The butter gave it a nice flavor. Just be careful as you know butter burns fast. This was really a hit!
