Ingredients

3 pounds ground beef, lean
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon thyme
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 each bay leaves
1 teaspoon cilantro
1/4 teaspoon oregano Mexican prefered
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons paprika
46 ounces vegetable juice cocktail
1 cup onions chopped
16 ounces tomatoes peeled
4 cups pinto beans or kidney beans

Directions

Brown beef and drain fat.

Add all ingredients and cover.

Cook for 4 hours or so on medium.
