Directions

Heat oven to 350℉ (180℃).

Spray 13x9-inch baking pan with vegetable oil spray.

In large bowl, stir together cocoa and baking soda; stir in ⅓ cup melted margarine.

Add boiling water; stir until mixture thickens.

Stir in sugar, egg whites, vanilla and remaining ⅓ cup melted margarine; stir until smooth.

Add flour and salt; blend completely.

Stir in baking chips; pour into prepared pan.

Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan.

Cool completely in pan on wire rack.

Cut into squares.
