Step by Step: Banana Nut Bread with Buttermilk

Has a great flavor - very moist. A lighter color than some Banana Nut breads. The best I've ever tasted.

Wonderful recipe!! One of the BEST Banana Bread recipes.. Any time I make it from now on this is most likely the recipe I will use..Only thing I will do is add a few Cranberries for color and a slight tang, and some crushed Banana chips on the top..

Found gourmet buttermilk at the grocery store and made this banana nut loaf. It came out exactly like the picture.I just asked my husband if he remembered when I made this a couple days ago. He said no,do it again, and chuckled. That says it all.

We made this bread for our friends in the summer when they came to visit us. The bread was so good, and they wrapped the leftover and took with them when they left :)

Try demerara dark brown sugar instead of the white. You'll not go back.
