I've been using this recipe for what seems like forever. It's my family's favorite and they are quite distraught over the fact that it's been missing since we moved several months ago. Does anyone have this recipe under the category #15, From Your Home Bakery? The recipe is unique in that it calls for some honey and wheat germ, as well as a splash of lemon juice, but also suggests that whole wheat may be substituted - and I've been using whole wheat ever since. It's actually better with whole wheat because it's heartier and slightly nuttier. Can anyone please put my family out of their misery over this one and make Mom the hero again? I'd be much obliged! |

To SuzieQue: I don't know who you are but know that you truly are a Godsend!... I just found the recipe I was looking for(the proverbial needle in a haystack) that you submitted as a response a year ago. You have many thanks from all of us who have misplaced our faves or had them 'borrowed' and not returned. Thank you, thank you, and thank you! |
