Hello,
I was wondering if anyone knows any simple recipes with as few/mostly tinned or frozen ingredients as possible that I could make and then freeze to have several times? The food I usually prepare at home costs a small fortune to make here! Thanks Ben |

Casseroles are one way to go. Here is a tuna casserole: 2 small cans tuna packed in water, drained
Mix all ingredients in a casserole baking dish except for half the chips. Place rest of chips on top. Bake for 40 min. at 350F. Freeze leftovers in small containers. Try making other casseroles from canned or dried beans, dried rice, pasta, canned veggies, such as stewed tomatoes, etc. Most casseroles can be frozen. |

I made this for a weekend quilting retreat and got rave reviews! Just cooking the apples and raisins alone was enough to make our mouths water. I made syrup available to pour on top, but it was also great without syrup.
