Baked Ling Cod with Lemon-Garlic Butter Sauce
Have you ever seen a ling cod? They are almost primeval looking - huge, gaping mouths with very sharp teeth. As with any fish, the most important factor for how good it tastes is its freshness. I picked up this fillet at my local fish market where they told me that the ling cod had just come in that morning. With the lemon-garlic butter sauce it was divine.submitted by

Beef Stew with Mushrooms and White Beans
This beef stew recipe is from the National Cattlemen's Beef Association. It cooks up in about half an hour and is surprisingly rich in flavor given its short cooking time.submitted by

Smoky Spice Crusted Tofu
Very simple, quick and easy recipe. Might even coax some non-tofu people to give it a try. The slices are coated with a gentle smoky spice mixture and cooked in a blackened Cajun style to a lightly crispy exterior then finished with a honey lemon glaze. Great color and great flavor to an otherwise humble protein. Try to find smoked paprika if you can or add a few drops of liquid smoke to the marinade.submitted by
