Very Very tasty chicken. Just like the one I had when I was in Japan. I used only one egg and added some sesame oil instead. I also added some chopped ginger. For chicken, I used boness skinless thighs. Thank you for this recipe!
Mmmmm, very good dumplings. I didn't use pork, just shrimp, still very flavorful. I made wonton soup, using carrots and Chinese napa cabbage. Great for a cold winter day. I had some leftover wontons, so I froze them for later use.
A basic cut-out cookie recipe. I didn't use milk, so the cookies were more crispy. I also added lemon peel. Maybe lemon icing would be good for decorating the cookies.
Tips for presenting a holiday dip with class....
These are quick to make and great for using up leftover rice, quinoa, barley, or other grains. And the cumin really adds the perfect touch of flavor (although I do add some salt). I make these as an accompaniment to squash soup or other cream-based soup...perfect for harvest time. I really enjoy simple food, and these are perfect. My kids enjoy them too...they say they look like chocolate chip cookies and like them dipped in ketchup.
